Beth received her Master’s degree in counseling from Lakeland College in 2013. As a young child exposed to therapy due to her own traumatic experiences, she knew this was the career she wanted to pursue, to advocate for others with similar backgrounds. She enjoys working with individuals and families across the lifespan and is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which is aimed to treat Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder in children under 18 years old. In addition to her special interest in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, she enjoys working with those who struggling with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and relationship/family issues. She believes that healing happens in relationships and wants you to feel safe and supported as you work with her to meet your individualized goals.
Beth is a Wisconsin native who has been in practice for 5 years in Door County. After completing graduate school she contracted with Manitowoc County Human Services, providing psychosocial rehabilitation sercices through their Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) program. She then worked with youth in the Juvenile Justice System who were on home detention and/or electronic monitoring. She grew up in Manitowoc, WI and hoped to obtain employment near her family. She is proud to call Sturgeon Bay home and values the community. When not at work you can find her spending time with family and friends throughout the state. She enjoys yoga, waterskiing, downhill skiing and walking/hiking.
